Sherman Hung, Managing Director, Head of Large Corporate, Institutional Banking Group, DBS Hong Kong
Sherman Hung is Managing Director, Head of Large Corporate, for Institutional Banking Group of DBS Bank (Hong Kong). He rejoined DBS Hong Kong in 2023 and he is responsible for overall management and strategic planning of Large Corporate business for DBS Hong Kong.
Sherman possesses around 20 years of experience in investments and commercial banking transactions across Asia Pacific, including mainland China, China Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and South Korea.
Mr Hung first joined DBS Hong Kong in 2014. His last position was Managing Director and Head of Real Estate and Strategic Coverage of Institutional Banking Group. Prior to DBS, he was with the investment banking department of Morgan Stanley and Citibank, where he established a deep coverage in various sub-sectors of real estate, including REITs, commercial real estate, hotels, real estate private equity funds, and real estate agency services. Between 2018 and 2022, Mr Hung became Assistant Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Kidsland International Holdings Limited (HKEx: 2122), where he was responsible for strategic planning, overall management and operations, and corporate finance.
Mr. Hung was born in Suzhou, China and grew up in Hong Kong. He received a Master of Philosophy degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge (Chevening Scholarship) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with First Class Honours (UCL Hong Kong Alumni Scholarship) from the University College London.
