Liz Chu, Weave Living

Liz Chu, Chief Operating Officer, Weave Living

With over 18 years of global real estate experience, Liz is the Chief Operating Officer of Weave Living, Asia Pacific’s living sector specialist. In her role, Liz is responsible for all aspects of Weave Living’s platform including business development, strategic planning and business operations regionally across Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, and Seoul.

Having worked as an adviser, investor, developer, and asset manager at international institutions such as Investec and Citi, she has delivered and managed more than US$3 billion in residential and commercial property developments in markets including the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific. Liz holds Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Law degrees from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Weave Living was founded to fill a gap in the market for beautifully designed and professionally managed rental accommodation in large urban centres, with the aim of delivering a hassle-free city living experience.

The company currently owns and manages some 1,500 rental accommodation units in Hong Kong and Singapore, made available via three consumer brands – Weave Studios, Weave Suites and Weave Residences. Weave Living is in the process of introducing its own concept of city living to Japan and other Asia Pacific countries, with imminent announcements in the coming weeks.

Weave Living has earned a solid track record for offering flexible lease terms and move-in-ready homes at all-inclusive prices, amounting to a streamlined, stress-free rental experience.

The company is firmly committed to the comfort and well-being of residents, as well as to the communities surrounding each of its properties. In fact, a robust ESG policy framework has been established by Weave Living, which places sustainability at the heart of its business.

Weave Living is a portfolio company of global private equity firm Warburg Pincus and works with several other leading institutional real estate investors.
